Summer Holidays

 My perfect summer holidays. Well, every year (before covid) traveled with my family to the coast, because my grandparents have a very comfortable wooden house in Isla Negra. It's a very good place to have a rest from the hustle and bustle of the city, have hills replete with eucalypt trees whit the air flooded with its particular aroma, it is very relaxing to walk around those places. At this little house arrived all my mom families every year and its that a lot of people for one unique bathroom in the house hahaha but at the end of the day we always had new good times in the memory.  

When the pandemic started all those vacations on family finished, we didn't stay together for obvious reasons and my mom and my dad planned a vacation away from all the civilization and we went camping... yes, and in camping, you don't have a WC or a shower, you know that? My brother and I,  like the real divas that we are don't like that idea, to go to this place without fresh, drinking, and flowing water, but my fathers cautious than ever had the solution for everything a solar shower and a transportable WC, you can believe that? When we arrived to far far away, literally, the place was very far away from the city isn't what we expected, was an experience so much better, and created new memories together as a family.

When I saw this picture in my gallery come back to my mind a very good memory of one of the most important phases that I lived: High school.

You can laugh.

A little bit of context will be ok, no? I don't remember the exact date when taking this photo but was in my third year of high school, for sure. I was helping some friends whit their English homework (ironic no? hahaha) they need to record a scene where a plane crashed with a very peculiar group of people aboard. Probably ask yourself: well that it's ok, but why are you dressed like that? and result that one of the integral of their teamwork didn't go that day, and I was there, helpless and unprepared, whit nothing to do.

Result that the person that decided don't go that day has the role of one hysterical and loud-mouthed old woman, and a little crazy, you know, she has an umbrella inside a plane. Well, I prepare myself for the role of my life, my first show, my debut as an actor, and we improvised a costume of course (you can be appreciated in the picture).

Already in action,  I gave my life and voice in the role, literally, the geezer had to SHOUT A LOT, and I have to repeat some time my scene because my friends couldn't stop laughing when I said my lines. Anyway, thanks to me they had a seven.

Postgraduate Studies

 

 Hi everyone, today I'm going to talk about some postgraduate studies that I would like to have in a time more. 

Well as I have already told you in other blogs, I really like the studies about the vegetable kingdom and if I don't change my opinion when I have already finished my career, of course, I would take some specialization in that area. 

I don't really sure about what kind of course, I should take to continue in the project of my dream’s life, but see that on the way, I recently started in this world so I still have time, I hope. 

About where I like to continue my postgraduate studies, I definitely would like to have the experience of being part of an exchange program and go to one model country in this area like Germany or Spain, and of course whit face to face modality... maybe blended system. 

Another thing that I would like to tell you is, I really like to grow up in other areas that don't necessary relation to my career directly but will be important in my profession and personal life, I would take mini-courses of different things like, communication and expression, sign language (I already have one, but is very basic), programming; if I learn to use Excel I will be happy hahaha, administration, things like that. 

My Future Job

 

Well, my dream job since I was a very child always has been researching plants and their medicinal properties.  This perfect job that I imagine is perfectly balanced between outdoors and indoors labor. How? Well, having some days recollecting specimens or maybe gathering information from a dusty old book from the eldest library on the city, that no one had to pay attention before; and having some days whit indoors labor in a researching laboratory, isolating active substances that could change everything, improve one medicine,  or found the cure of diseases apparent intractable!!!

I would really enjoy travel in my job, of course, it is a great opportunity to learn about other scientists and in (my case) bring with me new ideas, and projects, research about endemic plants, and how knows what else.

In my perfect job, the salary would not matter, because I would be doing what I really like, and would be happy, researching, making, and helping people. (As long as I have to eat everything well hahaha).

A major that I am thinking of taking is pharmacognosy and botany, because... you know plants. Another area of specialization that I would like to major is biochemistry in some doctorate or master. I think that these specialties are very related to my interests and they bring me to close to my perfect job. 

A Meal that I really like

I am very accustomed to having a healthy and balanced diet, but when I need to give me a delight because I deserve it, of course, I enjoy tasting a pizza with so much melted cheese. 

Pizza is one of the most versatile meals that ever exist. Every person in the world has their "little secret" to make an extravagant and delicious pizza: some extra cheese, use an exotic condiment maybe, do a crispy dough, including the judged Hawaiian Pizza ( I like it, don't kill me please). I personally add to the sauce a little bit of garlic powder, onion powder, extra oregano, and pepper, a delight to the palate. I believe that a pizza can be as unhealthy or healthy as you want it, from a basic one with dough, cheese, ham, and oregano to another with bacon or salami, etc. What about you, have any special ingredient?

In conclusion, we have an appropriate type of pizza for any occasion like, at the breakfast, on your first date, at the wedding of your cousin, anyway every moment its good to go for a pizza. 😋 

The Cringe

 When I started to think I some moments that I did have felt a lot of cringes, I found a patron... recapping in three words: physical education classes.

My young, nerd, and fat I always was very bad to play any sport in this class, I hated to do any team sport because nobody picks me, of course, all of them wanted to win😢... Anyway, getting back at the cringe moments, when I was around 11 or 12 years, we needed to do a test of resistance for this class (just run 4 kilometers) on the track. I started very well, but 15 minutes later, I started to feel very sick, I told the teacher and he answers me: It will be passed, keep going... I see you. I continued, but not for a longest time, just a few steps more, and I started to give back my delicious and nutritive breakfast, you know what I mean (🤮). But that was not all, I did that in front of the ladies of my class... A very embarrassing moment. It's more fun when I remember that one of the ladies went to see me and shout (to others): he throws up all the milk!!! in the meantime, I continued showing my performance.
